Anyway, are you planning on buying Platinum? Why?

Anyway, a poll would be nice for this topic~ Anyway, yes, of course. No questions there; I've been looking forward to going through Sinnoh again for a long time anyway, especially with all these new changes. It's gonna be interesting.

I've even got my starter planned: Chimchar, nicknamed Rex. ...Dunno what I'll do if he's a girl, though... :/

Nine chances out of ten, yes. ^^ I don't have DP now, so when Platinum rolls around I probably won't be able to resist. xD I'm thinking I'll choose Turtwig as a starter. Maybe Piplup, but it'd be kind of cool to choose a grass starter once.

Yes. It looks much cooler than Emerald or Crystal was, with more and better changes. And I want to see the Torn World eee it looks so awesome (surfing sideways yay!).

Definitely. I guess you guys already listed most of my reasons, but I also heard that in Platinum Underground is Internet-enabled as well as wifi. Is that true? I'm too lazy to go look it up.

I am also planning to get myself Platinum! The improvements are beyond words, with new Pokemon forms etc. I always try to avoid being spoiled to preserve the freshness of this new version. I am excited to get one!

I live in Europe and I don't know the European release of Platinum, but I will buy one nonetheless....

Yes! I'll prolly pre-EV train some Pokemon for it this time, and trade them over after I beat the second gym... I gave my sister a good Aipom in this way. I'm not sure what starter this time... I used piplup in diamond, but I might use turtwig this time. Maybe I'll design a team before I play it... But yeah, I'm definitely going to get it, and I can't wait to play the battle frontier with all the new sprites. =D

Haha, I totally will~ 8D I could never really get into Diamond to be honest... but with all the cool additions to this game, I think I could gain a liking to Platinum. XD

Yeah, I had Pearl but lost it and now I've been playing Diamond on his cheat device. Of course, I don't use any cheats, but I still don't like using that to play, and Platinum looks so much awesomer.

I ordered the Japanese version the other day from Play-Asia, so it's a definite yes in my case. It should be coming in later this week, hopefully.
