I consider myself left handed, when in reality, all I do with my left hand is write, draw, and color. Oh, and I use a knife in my left hand. But other than that, I hold sports equipment like a righty would, I use scissors in my right hand, hold silverwear in my right hand (except a knife) and, now that I think about it, I hold a phone in my right hand. xDD

My friend told me once that's called weakly left handed. But I still consider myself to be a lefty. So, what are you guys?

My friend (a different one) is also left handed, and one of her friends had printed this sheet off from the internet or something, and it was all about how the world's discriminating against lefties. It was plainly ridiculous. Some of it made sense, like it had a list of items that were made for righties, and there was stuff on it like scissors, which makes sense. But then there were insane things, like butter knifes. And aprons. -_-

And it was also filled with "facts" about how lefties are "more likely to commit suicide", "more likely to have diabetes as a child", "more likely to become alcoholic"... Yeah. It was incredibly ridiculous. At least in my opinion.

I'm a righty. I also always take note of how lefties write for whatever odd reason...

I've, multiple times in my life (7th grade, 9th grade, 10th grade), tried to train myself to be ambidextrous to lessen hand cramps from excessive writing. I failed every time...though, given the quality of my handwriting, nobody can tell the difference between my left and right hands' writing xD...

Actually, I'm a lefty when it comes to using the telephone...but that's the only exception to the rule.

I hold the phone with my left hand, but that only because I'm usually doing something else with my right. X3;

Rightie, although no matter how much I use my right hand, my left always hurts more at the end of the day. It's very unusual... :huh:

I'd say I'm mostly left-handed and somewhat ambidextrous... I can do almost anything with both of my hands except write... like tennis.

edit: that is to say, I do everything with my left hand, but I could have done it with my right with a bit of training.

I think everyone holds the phone with their weak hand, normally because they can do stuff with their dominant hand while talking.

Um.. my left hand is very weak. It's not coordinated at all, and often messes me up while playing piano. >> Generally doing anything with my left hand feels weird for some reason.

I'm a lefty.I do everything(exept hold the coputer mouse) with my left hand and my writing looks horrible with my right hand. :blink:

I'm waaaay righty. I do everything with my right side, including eat, kick soccer balls (although my left foot is getting better for use in soccer), and of course write. :P My left side's a spaz.

One of my best friends is a lefty and she never lets me forget it. x_x It's a bit of a pain.

Hmm, that reminds me of a friend who's lefthanded who holds (or used to, at least) the computer mouse in her left hand. xD I've never seen anyone else do that.
