Yeah, I saw a thread like this on Serebii and was kind of interested. Go figure.....

Say what type you would specialize in and what Pokemon you would have (2-6, no legendaries) and their attacks. Also say what town/city (from the games) would your Gym would be in, your badge, and the victory TM.

I guess I'll put up an example. I'd specialize in Water types and be in Canalave City. My Pokemon would be Vaporeon (Sand Attack, Ice Beam, Acid Armor, Brine), Golduck (Ice Punch, Surf, Amnesia, Rain Dance), Relicanth (Rock Tomb, Aqua Tail, Harden, Yawn), Dragonair (Aqua Tail, Dragon Dance, Thunderwave, Water Pulse). My badge would be called the Tide Badge and the TM would be Aqua Tail.

Hmm. I would specialize in Dark Types, most likely, and my gym would be in Ecruteak City, not that I'd be trying to take Morty's place or anything; it's just a neat city. ^^

And my Pokemon would be Umbreon, Murkrow, Sneasel, Houndoom, Tyranitar, and Absol. I have no idea what their movesets would be; I'm no good with movesets anyway. xD

My badge would be, hmm... oh, the Shadow Badge! *shot* And, TM... Faint Attack, I guess.

I'd probably be a rather easy to defeat Gym Leader for someone who's seriously going to strategetically choose their Pokemon. xD I just sort of picked Dark types at random.

I'd have pokemon that were similar in some way other than type- maybe body, personality associated with it, or maybe the evolution of a pokemon. I get ideas all the time. Some of my ideas require fake pokemon that I see and stuff. I just get an inspiration and the ideas come.
My gym would be in Lilycove City.
Possible Teams:
1.) Vileplume, Bellossom, and Lumbloom (A fake evo of gloom that's water/grass
2.) Altaria, Dunspargo (Evo of Dunsparce Normal/Dragon), more? XD

If I had to choose a type it would be ice. Cloyster, Mamoswine, Weavile, and Frosslass/Jynx.

I wonder...if a Gym changes type, does the badge change as well? I bet not, considering the Cascade Badge already existed when the Pweter Gym almost became Water type...plus, it would invalidate Boulder Badges or whatnot already given out...

For those Amber-philes (I know you're out there xD), Spruce actually tried to be a Gym leader at Olivine (where he grew up/studied a lot of the time), but he lost the final match to Jasmine (and, incidentally, she married his former best friend). Thankfully, I don't ever bring that cluttered story up (yet)...
Let's say that I'm in the pkmn world and not an incompetent professor and became a Gym leader instead. I'd definitely use the Flying type. My Gym would either be at Reme (it's not in Kansinhoenjohtorangeorre, obviously) or Oldale Town. I'dvouch for the Gym in Mauville (SP?) to shut down upon Watton's impending retirement and hope that the transportatio hub of Hoenn loses its wings. That would never happen, but who cares? Togetic, from the Johto days, would be kept around along with Galeon (take a guess), Altaria, Butterfree, Magmar, and mebe some ephemeral ones...

Fire-types or something else for me. No.. it's hard for me to choose favorites. You can tell by checking out the team I eventually want to have in the games: Umbreon, Charizard, Latias, Mawile, Mew, Lapras. Or something like that, since only the first four are truly wanted.

I'm really not sure- my favorite Pokemon range in all sorts of "elements" and levels. I guess I'd just pull a Cynthia/Shirona and pick whichever Pokemon I felt like using/were the strongest in my party at that time.

Gym somewhere in Kanto, Johto or Hoenn, don't care which city.

Team: Fire/dragon
Charizard
Typhlosion
Blaziken (beacuse the starters are so cliche but have awesome moves)
Maybe another Charizard cause they're my favs and sometime you get gym leaders with two of the same pokemon
and just because it can learn some fire moves and is cool, Dragonite

and probably some TM like Flamethrower or the other one that comes out in a man shaped circle... can't remember its name. No wait... *thinks* Fire Blast! that's it.

I'm not good at movesets but they would probably all be attack attacks anyway, i don't like the stat ones. i see them as pointless, but i guess they have their uppers. maybe one of them could have Sunny Day and one or two might be holding Charcoal, what with the enhancement of fire type moves and all...

Umm... Well... I dunno... Where'd I'd be. Maybe somewhere in Sinnoh?

Have Quilava just because I'm don't like Typhlosion as much. Vaporeon would probably be my trump card. I'd probably end up giving out a TM for Hydro Pump...

If multiple specialties aren't allowed, then I'd go for Ice, in Snowpoint Sinnoh. My team would be:

Glaceon
Weavile
Froslass

I'd probably throw in another Froslass or Glaceon, just because I like them. I'd give out the badge obviously, and a TM for Blizzard.

If I were a gym leader I would specialize in Grass types (grass types ftw :D). My gym would probably be in the middle of nowhere, and it would be a huge dome. Like a plant dome, it would be wild and filled with random vegetation for the Grass types.

I would have random teams, switching up the party every now and then for fun. Teams like Venesaur, Leafeon, Grovyle...that would be fun, right? ^^

If I could go multiple I would go with Dark and Ghost.

If not I would go with Psychic.

If I would be a Gym Leader, I'd specialize with Grass.types and will stand a gym in the Floaroma Meadow xD

My Pokemons would be possibly: Oddish (Sunny Day, Leaf Storm, Sleep Powder, Stun Spore), Cherrim (SolarBeam, Aromatherapy, Protect, Hidden Power Ground), Leafeon (Swords Dance, Leaf Blade, Return, X-Scissor), Jumpluff (U-Turn, Substitute, Leech Seed, Reflect), Roserade (Sludge Bomb, Leaf Storm, Hidden Power Fire, Extrasensory) and Bellossom(Energy Ball, Hidden Power Ground, Sludge Bomb, Charm).

lawl, I'd prefer to be the weakest Gym Leader. I guess that's all.

I'm really not sure which type I'd choose to specialise in. I suppose I'd most like to use either the Fire-type or the Flying-type.

If I chose to specialise in the Fire-type, my team would probably be Charizard, Flareon, Magcargo, Houndoom, Rapidash and Camerupt. I'm not sure about the movesets for either of these teams. My gym would probably be in... meh, I'm not sure. Some pretty city somewhere, or possibly by a volcano... nah, maybe not. I'd probably actually have a gym in a city, and some temporary gym buildings dotted around in various places. The bage would probably be called the Warmth Badge or something like that. I'd give out Flamethrower as the victory TM.

If I wanted to specialise in the Flying-type, my team would be Gligar, Charizard, Honchkrow, Aerodactyl, Swellow and Gyarados. My gym would be in Mahogany Town, and my badge would probably be called the Flight Badge, or something along those lines. I'd give out Aerial Ace as the victory TM.

I wouldn't be a gym leader, I would be Pokemon League Champion! ::D:

I'd probably specialize in Psychic, and I'd have an Alakazam and a Gardevoir. Maybe an Espeon also... but yeah, Psychic pokemon are definitely my favorite kind. I'd be based in... uh... can't think of anywhere in particular. Probably in Sinnoh. I guess I could call my badge the "Acolyte Badge" or some such.

They are cool pokémon and only have one weakness. And electric moves are awsome! I would be somewhere in Shinnoh, IDK where.
