Title: Politics -- The Presidential Primaries
Description: In America, sorry British peoples

So, what with Super Tuesday going strong and Hillary and Obama neck-and-neck in the race, it seems like a perfect time to discuss our own personal political views. :3 Oh come on, we all have them. Do you consider yourself a Democrat or a (shudder) Republican? Who do you want to win the election and become our next president? Why? What do your peers think? If you can vote, who did you vote for?

Do you have no idea what is going on in your country right now? xD I can explan that too, if you like, with the power of Civics Class! :D *sparkle*

Mmk. So, election '08. Go!

Meh, I consider myself a Democrat, and I think my parents are, too.

I just hope the next pres will be a democrat - either Clinton or Obama should be fine.

Either way, I wasn't born in the US and I'm not over 18 so I can't vote anyways. XD

I myself am a democrat as well. As for the next president, I think Obama will do the job nicely. I'm interested in him because he's apparently against the war, and we've never had an Afrian American as president before :0

Actually, Clinton would be OK too, but I'm more for Obama. She doesn't look like she would be as good a president :| I have nothing against women in office but...eh.

Even though my family isn't registered as anything, we are pretty much democrats. Although we consider their party as less important than what we look for in a good president, we've never thought that a certain republican would be better than a democrat.

I'm rooting more for Obama than Clinton, mainly because of his policies on stuff. (Can't seem to remember which) I'd be fine with Clinton though, or even McCain if I tried. Not Huckabee, though. *shudders at the thought of him in office*

I'm a democrat, and think that hillary clinton should be the next president because she is more experience than obama, and obama has a bad record (and he smokes. >>), and I should really learn more about their opinions. XD
AND HILLARY WON SUPER TUESDAY!!! =D

EDIT: Oh, and Zephyr, can you tell us about your opinions? That would be interesting, as you're prolly more informed than me. =D

Why sure. :D

Living in one of the most democratic states in the US (Massachusetts fyi), it's not like I have much choice in the matter. :P I'm strictly liberal. For this upcoming election, I support Obama. He's anti-war whilst Clinton is pro-war, and stopping the war is something I was hoping the next president will do. Also, there's the matter of personality-- Obama is just overall a nicer guy, who has more belief in unity and strength as a people rather than as individuals. I believe that he'll more unite us when he's elected president, not further push the divide between Republicain and Democrat.

Mitt Romney's out! :D *throws confetti* ...I was seriously starting to hate that guy. <_< Ex-governor of my state or no, he's a hypocrite and would be absolutely hopeless in office. I'm still hoping Huckabee wins the nomination though, simply because I feel he'll be far easier to beat than McCain. :P Although in my opinion, there's really very little chance for a republicain to win this election.

I'm not definite on who I want, but I think I might want Huckabee. Before you start yelling at me, though, I have to say that I like both of the Democratic canidates. I'm not sure which party I am more for, but I kind of want Huckabee more than anyone else. I am not as informed as most people, but I think that Huckabee might be a good president, but if not, I don't know who else. I know that Huckabee is behind and probably won't win, but that is my choice.

Maybe you should look for the views of both parties? Most of the people you'll find on forums like these (that I've been on at least) tend to have more democratic people. I have no idea why there are more democrats on forums, but yah...
