Title: Glitch in Nintendogs?
Kronakitty - December 31, 2007 08:45 PM (GMT)
My first dog in Nintendogs: Best Friends was a male Beagle. Later, I decided to get a female shetie.
I was happy and all, but something weird happened when I tried to apply an accessory to her.
I clicked a Ribbon, but it appeared on her chest rather than on her ears (like it should for a girl, right?). But when I apply ribbons to my male Beagle, it goes on his ears. o_O;;
I'm wondering... is this a glitch or what? o_o Is there any way to fix it?

I don't think it's a glitch, it's just the way the game is. The same thing happens with my dogs, although usually the girls have bows on their ears and not their chest. I don't think there's a way to fix it, although I haven't tried anything.

I really wouldn't know. ^^; I think that happened to me once, but then I switched off and back on and it was fine.

It's not a glitch.
Ribbons go differently on male or female, and on different species of dogs. Or maybe it's random. I don't know. xD

^ No, but she's saying that the ribbons were going on the chest for the girl and the ears for the boy. They're supposed to go on the ears for the girl, and the chest for the boy, so that's what she's saying is the glitch.

I think it might go by the breed rather than the male or female. =/

This is slightly confusing. I'll look it up.

IMX is right, it depends on breed.
Dogs with ears that go up like Shelties have chest bows, and dogs with ears going down like beagles have ear bows. ;D I was annoyed for a while with that, but it is just the way it goes! :P

Really?? But.. on my German Shepards the boy has it on his chest and the girl has it on her ears. Same when I had beagles too..
