Alright, so I got a Nintendo DS Lite on Thanksgiving week. It looks like My this and I absolutely love it. Cost $139, and so far I'm really pleased with it. ^^

HOWEVER...

I bought a set of screen protectors that cost about $7. They looked pretty good but when I placed them on the screen, there were loads of dust particles under them and also a bunch of air bubbles. I removed it and tried to get rid of the dust, but eventually the whole thing got messed up and when I put it back on the screen, it was ugly and weird. x_X;; In the end I had to throw the protectors away because they didn't work anymore.

The only good thing I got out of it was the cloth wiper it came with.

Today, I went to Wal-Mart and bought another set of protectors that came with an awesome cloth, two extra styluses, and two game card holder things. Now, this package was "Nintendo Approved" so I thought, "Hey, maybe it would work better."

It didn't. Yeah, the cloth was great... again... but the protectors had these ugly sticky corners and once I put them on, the screens looked gray and weird and even a bit grimy. o_O; And when I took the bottom one off, I accidentally scratched the very, absolutely top right corner and make a little mark. .__.; Yeah, it's barely noticeable and you can't really see it when a game's playing, but it still made me mad. XDD

So now I only have the top one on. And it looks ugly. ._.

I just get the DS stickers. My Loz:PH one was awesome, and it came with a PH cloth, and a yellow stylus + a green stylus.

I don't use screen protectors anymore. Basicly, the same happened to me as did you, except I didn't pay for mine. (They were free) So, after those I just gave up and didn't use them. And yes, now my screen's all scratched up, but that's really only because I have Nintendogs, and besides, it's all not that bad. In most games you will hardly notice it; only some will make you remember that your screen is all scratched up. ^^;;

Oh, nevermind. XD That wasn't a scratch... it was just some glue that stuck to the screen from the protectors. XDD;;

But ehh I fuss over technology a lot - everything I have has to be shipshape. XD I actually think that Pelican's Crystal Clear ones are pretty good. It's just that when I first used them, I wasn't careful when putting them on.

Those screen protectors are so annoying. -_-; I had my mom put them on for me, and apparently, you're supposed to place it on lightly and then use some flat object to smooth out the bumps. O_o; I'll have to ask her again.

XD My friend Blursh thought you weren't supposed to put on the screen protectors. And that's why she doesn't have a DS. XDD

I agree. I don't like screen protectors either D: I remember getting some at Gamestop, but i got frustrated with putting them on, so i just threw em out xD

That's what happened with my old DS. I put on some sonic skin i got from somewhere and there were a bunch of air holes, and when I tried flattening them the skin just got messed up D| baww

I used to have nintendogs, but i lost it one day. I remember getting a million shiba inus because i was obsessed with them xD

There is a special way to put them on that DOES involve flat objects. However I am not good at this, and therefore I never get screen protectors. My friend is pro though. :{

editx1. Oh, the screen protectors were for my cellphone. When I first got it, I was all "omg. must... not... scratch." Then I accidentally tossed it while playing tennis, and yeah. No inhibitions now :)

I don't use screen protectors, and sorry about yours not working out... congrats on getting the DS though! XD

I lost both of mine.
I didn't really like them, they made the screen lighter.
