Title: Uh...
Description: can't think of title.
Avielus - November 12, 2007 10:44 PM (GMT)
Hey! I'm Avi, you'll probably see me around somewhat from now on. I love violin(and by extension all stringed instruments.) I read lots. I game (ijji Gunz, quest server 2 if you play ^_^. and some LGGunz. ). but most of that stuff you can figure out by reading my interests.
yeah. that's not all, but I'm trying not to procrastinate on homework for once in my life.
uhoh... I forgot to practice and my lesson is in 30 minutes...(violin) time to cram.

Hi, Avielus, welcome to EVF! Make sure you follow the rules and stay active, and most importantly, have fun! =)

Avielus - November 13, 2007 12:20 AM (GMT)
Phew, who came up with the idea of adding a text-strikeout option? I'd rather those thoughts stayed in your head. :P
Thanky much Shadow ^_^
Actually, I've heard of that. Time to go read it, I guess. :D
editx1: my post count is still 0 D: actually, it would be kinda cool having a lot of posts on a forum and being known but having a 0 postcount. ah well. perhaps lag of some sort is the perpetrator.

That reminds me of a friend on another board I go to, post count is disabled in its spam sections. and thats all he does is spam, so he has a post count of 0.
Anyway, welcome!!
Avielus - November 13, 2007 02:39 AM (GMT)
Heh, I think this section must be labeled spam, because I just got my first post in another section.
Thanks for the welcome, Eon Storm. Your avatar is pretty funny... and I've never even watched (that's Inuyasha, right?) well, then again, I must have seen it at some point to make the connection.
IceMasterX - November 13, 2007 03:09 AM (GMT)

Avielus - November 13, 2007 03:13 AM (GMT)

Yep, that's Inuyasha alright. XD
RyouBakura - November 13, 2007 05:52 PM (GMT)
Hello! yami: another victim for me to feed on Uh, Yami didn't mean that.
It's nice to see you. I do also like musical instruments. You're the second person I know who can play the violin without breaking one or two strings.
Kronakitty - November 13, 2007 10:54 PM (GMT)
Ahaha~ Introduction isn't exactly what you'd call "spam", but some sections have post count turned off because well, in some places people can easily increase post count just by posting random, short stuff like "Welcome!" or "Hi!" o_O;
Anywaiii welcome to EVF! Although I've already said that, hee. ^-^
Avielus - November 14, 2007 12:53 AM (GMT)
Yepp, I see the point.
Hahah... I can't say I haven't broken a string or two in my day :P (but I blamed it on my cat.) One time a string actually started unraveling(they're just large coils) while I was playing. That was really odd and scary :O
Yep you have :D but thanks again! ^.^
offtopic(if anything in this forum can be called off-topic :P:
O noes. Ever since I downgraded from Vista(SUCKS POOP W/ COMPATABILITY AND ANNOYS ME IN A LOT OF WAYS)[I would have stuck with Ubuntu but it had even more problems with my stupid computer than Vista ^_^] to XP(sorry that thought really got interrupted :P),
I can't watch animated gifs for some reason. There goes dear Sephiroth's hair/cape waving action and Eon's bothering :(
editx1... I gotta dl firefox soon... because it owns in every way.
MawileGirl - November 14, 2007 01:19 AM (GMT)
Yes, Firefox is awesomefullness, if that's a word, which it isn't, but still. ^_______^ I'm using Firefox right now, too.
Avielus - November 14, 2007 01:26 AM (GMT)
If it's not, it should be / is now. Firefox is definitely awesomefullness. So is thunderbird, for that matter.
editx1. On strings: Omigod. What is scary is when bass strings snap(basses are the really big instruments). Their strings are like... well, not inches thick, but considerably large. I think you're supposed to change them regularly because if they snap they might kill somebody :D Once it happened in the middle of class, sounded like a peal of thunder. The bassist is my friend so he let me keep the string ^_^ it makes a fun whip... er that is... hood ornament?
Kronakitty - November 14, 2007 02:51 AM (GMT)
I haven't used Thunderbird, but Firefox pwns IE in every way possible. Yeah, some things only work on IE, but most things are absolutely perfect on FF.
And what's up with IE7's antialiasing? It's such a pain to look at. XD All FF needs to do now is fix a couple of compatibility issues and allow colored scrollbars.
Avielus - November 14, 2007 03:05 AM (GMT)
OH. so that's why colored scrollbars never worked. I thought it was my fault.... *noob moment* AHH TOO TECHY FOR ME *googles* Oh, I see. Yeah, IE makes things look ugly and disgusting. I like IE6's look better, which is kinda sad.
I remember when Firefox couldn't display image descriptions on scrollover... that was killer, and lots of people had pointed it out to them but they had my terminal illness or something(laziness.) I couldn't barely read my favorite webcomic (www.xkcd.com FTW FTW FTW) and it made me sad. :P
Zephyr - November 14, 2007 09:27 PM (GMT)
Hey. Hey. I use IE7. D: I know not of the antialiasing of which you speak, and it has a handy zoom-in feature, and the tabs are cool. So don't go knockin' IE before you've... um... I mean, don't insult IE.
Have I introduced myself in this topic yet? |D I think not. I am Zephyr, second Admin and forum hawk. I prey on idiots. You're not at all an idiot from what I can see, though. ^^ Don't ruin my first impression, now. Follow the rules, stick around, and make lotsa friends! ^^ I can see you're already doing the latter. :3
Kronakitty - November 14, 2007 09:33 PM (GMT)
Trust me, I've used IE7, too. XD By antialiasing, I mean that the text is very fuzzy and weird. o_O; Firefox also has tabs. I'm not insulting it really, I'm just um... enhancing my opinion-based superiority of Lordly Mozilla Firefox. D8;;
Avielus - November 14, 2007 10:21 PM (GMT)
Sorry, I'm not knocking IE without using it. :P The tabs look really stupid. As does everything else. On my desktop, it crashed when tabbing without fail(due to an addon, I later discovered, but it was an official microsuxx0rz one.)
o. thanks for welcome and compliments. :P
Firefox is fully customizable, supports (cool-looking) tabbed browsing, and session restores(teh useful! ^_^), and in general is faster/more responsive to me than IE7 as well as usually sucking up less CPU.
of course, Vista is hell with Firefox(at least when update time comes around), but Vista is hell with just about everything.
IceMasterX - November 15, 2007 03:15 AM (GMT)
Lawl thanks for using my quote in my sig! XD And Firefox does pwn. I use it, and that's why it pwns. XD
Avielus - November 15, 2007 04:00 AM (GMT)
Better than all of my reasons combined. :P
editx1. I WISH THERE WERE A WAY TO DISABLE EMOTICONS BY DEFAULT. If there is, somebody tell me so that
a. I can feel like an idiot
b. not get annoyed every time I hit the checkbox.
I don't like image emotes. D:
