Description: Stolen avatar.

I'm not really sure where to post this...
The avatar
LucarioFan654 is using is stolen. I know for a fact, because my friend on deviantArt made it. Proof:
link and
link And I know for a fact that they are not the same person, because my friend uses better grammar and spelling than LucarioFan(no offense).
So, yeah. Please make him/her get rid of it.
Thank you for your time. *nods*

What are you talking about?I diden't steal anything!
Shadow - November 10, 2007 07:03 PM (GMT)
Well, if you didn't steal it, then why is your avatar on this person's dA page? With such great proof standing against you, you certainly don't have a very good argument.
Kronakitty - November 10, 2007 09:45 PM (GMT)
Don't even try to deny it. The proof is right there, laid out just like that. Maybe it was unintentional - maybe you just found it off Google or some random site and thought it was free. If that was so we might've cut you at least a little slack even if there wasn't proof supporting you. But to flat out say you're innocent of guilt without a single apology or attempt to redeem yourself when the evidence is right in front of you -- that's kinda unacceptable.
If you read our rules, theft is not tolerated. At all. Thank you for having enough sense to change the avatar, though. :3
But just as a warning: there is no such thing as multiple strikes for theft. Steal anything else and you'll be banned with no question asked.

Actully I found it off of Photobucket.......I used it in one of my Youtube videos and I used it as an avi because I thought it was cute.I diden't know it was stealing!

Well you changed it and all is well, but I have some advice for you.
When you're browsing photobucket for pics, if the art is fanart, assume you can't use it for anything, and you'll never get in trouble. That's what I do. It might not be as fun but at least you won't get under anyone's skin. :P

Well, slideshows are generally boring anyway. They're fun to make yeah, but they're boring to watch. Trust me I've tried it.
So no, you shouldn't use them on youtube either. I've heard of some artists getting REALLY ticked at it.

No they aren't Eon,people can use them if they please.Really, people seem to hate me here......
Shadow - November 25, 2007 01:35 AM (GMT)
People can't just use the artwork of others as they please. If the artist doesn't want their work used anywhere, then it cannot be used anywhere. Would you want your hard work ripped away from you, used by some random person who's not giving you any credit for all of your work?
PimaBean - April 1, 2008 05:09 PM (GMT)
Nicely put Shadow. If you're going to flat out say it's OK to STEAL someone elses work, you've got the wrong idea. It is considered stealing if the artist doesn't want it used by anyone but themselves. Next time try to find the artist, and try to ask if you can use it. If they say NO, then don't use it. If they say yes, you can use it. I allways ask before using anyone's artwork in banners, avvies, or ANYTHING.
