Well, first off, you're not going to have a website exactly like that one. Creating a website like TCoD takes lots and lots of time and effort; that website is the result of 5 years of dedication and effort.

If you're really dedicated to starting a website, do what we told you in the last thread. Go to this page and choose a free host. You'll also want to learn HTML, if you intend to be successful with your website. Lissa Explains is a wonderful site for learning HTML, and there's plenty of guides all over the web.

If you made a website exactly like TCoD, with all the same layouts, pages, and everything, it would be copying/stealing. You can't make a website exactly like some other one. If you want to make a website, it has to be your own.

As for hosts, Awardspace is a good one.

Cynda's right. It can't be exactly like that website; that's stealing.

Your host isn't making anything, really; it's just allowing your pages to be viewed on the internet. The way you set up your pages, your content, etc. is all up to you.

I don't mean that exactly,I mean one simaler to that one that same type.

Well, what do you mean by similar? A similar layout, similar content? There's really no way a host can make it similar for you; anything you want on your website has to be made by you. ^^

Well, this is what I do for content. I brainstorm ideas, then write them all down in a notebook. Then when I get my pages finished, I just type it into it.

So, just come up with some ideas and write them down, then go get a layout and apply the writings to your pages! ^____^

No host will make anything for you. There isn't a place that will make sites like TCoD; there isn't a place that will make sites like anything. You need to make a site, not your host. Cynda reccommended a host, and we've given you a link to a page with many other free hosts. If a host isn't what you're looking for, then please explain what you are looking for. Mmkay?

If you're talking about hosts, TCoD isn't hosted on a public host. So there isn't really a host that's exactly like TCoD's host. I still think Awardspace is a good host, since it has no ads that I can see.

Well, pretty much any host can host like TCoD is being hosted...

A host does nothing but make it so your website will appear on the Internet. They provide space for your files. That's it - they do nothing else. Every last bit of effort that goes in making the site you must do. I don't think you understand the concept of website-making very well.

I highly suggest you read the basics on lissaexplains.com. There is no way anyone can guide you through the process of creating your own site.

Well, we can't explain it any better than they can. If you don't understand anything, well... there's only so much we can do. There is no way we can tell you what to do step-by-step. Don't be too impatient when you're reading guides. You have to read them slowly and carely, and understand it straight from the basics. Making a forum or a website with pure HTML might be too difficult for you at this stage.

I highly suggest you make a free webmaker account on Freewebs just so you understand the concepts of a website before heading for harder tasks.

I made a site on Freewebs but I just don't like it......plus I want a layout that I make.

@Lucario: We can't help you with making your own layout. We can direct you to good guides and try to explain some HTML concepts, but there's no way, like I said before, that we can guide you step-to-step. If you want to make your own layout, read LissaExplains's guides so you understand HTML. There is no other way to do it -- no short cuts, no nothing.

Another option is to get a free layout. But even so, you'll still need to understand how to edit/place files in different directories and how to create new pages. You just have to get a host and start playing around in the CP to get a feel of how things work.

I'm only asking because you remind me of myself, when I was 10 I recall being in a similar situation. So I'll be willing to help, because I didn't get any myself. I didn't make my own layouts, I downloaded free ones and had people make my graphics for me. For a starter, you should try that.
