Yes, thats right. BRACES! I got them yesterday, and didn't post because of teh ebil PAIN! ;_; They hurt sooo much!! I had a lisp yesterday, and today I still can't make the sh, sp, st, sr, or ch sounds! They hooks scratch up my lips and my tongue keeps feeling like its bleeding. And I can't eat hard food, and Halloween's right arounf the corner!!



P.S: I got orange and black braces, GO HALLOWEEN! CANDEH!

Oh, ouch. :( That musta hurt. I got my braces two months ago, well, actually my top ones two months ago and my bottoms two weeks ago. It's because of my overbite..

I actually like braces, but I didn't for the first week or so. I like them mainly cause they look cool and stuff. But for the first week it hurts to eat food and stuff. Did your orthodontist really say 'no hard candy'? Mine said I could have them if I didn't chew on them too hard and if I brush my teeth afterwards. I get to chew gum too!! ^^

Where I come from, EVERYBODY gets braces. Old or young, makes no difference. This place is always packed with people of all ages...well, seniors is going a bit far--their teeth are already beyond possibly remediation =P...
I get mine off in a few weeks, and I really did not think they are that bad. Sure, no caramel for a while but you'll get used to it. But have fun; my teeth were excellent to begin with, so I probably do not know what it feels like to have braces that really hurt...

We give out popcorn sometimes xP...I give the jalapeno+tilde kind to my friends =P...

A true statement: braces suck. I've had mine for five months now. When I first got them, it was like having sharp hooks in my mouth. AND THEY KEEP BREAKING, CHEAP THINGS. But don't worry, Tenshers, you'll get used to 'em in a couple of weeks.

I'm getting them in a few days myself. They're nothing to worry about - everybody gets used to their braces in a pretty short amount of time. According to your last post, they don't hurt anymore.
