Description: ...Wow, so original.

Now, let me ask you this. Are you any fan of Nintendo at all?

Have you ever played any Nintendo game?

Do you know the existence of Nintendo?

If you said yes to any of these, then chances are that the game you're looking forward to most on the Wii is the ever-epic, totally awesome, never-gets-old Super Smash Brothers Brawl. And, by tracking their progress on the website, you'll find that this game is planned to be the most awesome video game ever. Period.

The Super Smash Brothers Brawl official website

So. Yeah. Ohmygosh ICE CLIMBERS ARE IN. <3 I would have totally been disappointed (but then gotten over it) if the Ice Climbers didn't get in. They are my character.

Hum, so, Story mode sounds incredibly interesting. ^^ However, whenever I play SSBM, I'm usually playing it with friends. A single-player mode sounds interesting, I suppose, and I guess it's a lot more fun than the mediocre-ish Classic and Adventure and All-Star modes of SSBM. From what I see, it's kinda like... Adventure Mode on steroids. It'll be kinda depressing to fight enemies that you can't unlock as playable characters, though. :<

Who do you want in Brawl? What would you like to see them introduce? Are their new developments totally putting you off of getting the game? Wut?

IceMasterX - September 21, 2007 03:47 PM (GMT)
omg yesh! I said yesh to both of those questions and I'm SO looking forward to getting SSBB. The graphics look so amazing! I think they should put Naruto in it! =D

I would SO love to get this game, except I don't have a Wii. =( However I found my dad is in favor of it, so maybe....

The pokemon trainer is ok, I guess, except I don't fully understand how it works. Do you even get to play as anything, or do you just send out the pokemon and let it beat up stuff? 'Cause that would be kinda boring, although it WOULD be cool watching Charizard, but I digress..

Cyndaquil201 - September 25, 2007 11:09 PM (GMT)
My favorite character is the Nintendog assist trophy. That is the best item ever.

I hope they don't have as many Pokemon characters as SSBM did. I think Pikachu, Pichu, Jigglypuff and Mewtwo was too much, especially when there were the Pokeballs.

You get to control all three Pokemon that the Pokemon Trainer uses.
And all of them have their own attacks, which, like the website says, is like three characters in one! So yeah, you can control and play as Charizard, Squirtle, and Ivysaur when you use the Pokemon Trainer. I hope that helped.

I think it's going to be awesome! Especially since they made an attempt to cater to the single player people who have very little friends/few friends who are actually any good at the game. It looks interesting. Also, I hope they add more Pokemon characters than last time and better Pokemon at that. I'll probably be playing as the Pokemon Trainer most, out of all the new characters, unless they add a better Pokemon character. Which I would like them to do.

I can't wait for this game to come out. The original was okay, but got boring very quickly. Melee was awesome, but got really boring after a while. I hope this one rules. It looks quite promising. I really hope they put more characters from NES games (or Kevin Keene XD), but most of all, they should put in someone from Chrono Trigger or Dragon Warrior.

IceMasterX - September 26, 2007 08:59 PM (GMT)
I think the pokemon trainer should have all his pokemon at the same evolution level instead of at three different stages... cuz it really doesn't match... whadda you guys think?

Nah. I think it's fine enough for the Pokemon trainer to have one of each stage. The Pokemon are all equally powerful, and besides, they picked the pwnfullest forms of all of them. (Except for Squirtle. Wartortle > Squirtle, but that would never have worked with Ivysaur.)

So, basically: You control the Pokemon, with the little Pokemon trainer graphic in the background making motions with his hands and stuff. I'm very glad it's the FRLG trainer, though, and not the D/P one. And ohmygod Charizard. <33

IceMasterX - September 26, 2007 09:47 PM (GMT)
yesh, the FR/LG trainer looks pwnsome. =D

GAAH! ZELDA! Will she turn into shiek? Will Zero Suit be able to be played as alone upon unlocking? WILL SONIC BE IN BRAWL?! (I highly doubt it...)

I wish. That would be awesome!
I wish they had access to not only the characters that nintendo made, but all the characters that have been in games for gamecube, wii, etc. Then we could have lotz of fun stuff like Sonic, Naruto, and tons of others.

EDIT: OMG I think it was just declared that sonic would be in brawl! =D

Eon Storm - November 7, 2007 05:52 AM (GMT)
SAWNIK IS IN BRAWL

*shot*

had to reply to this, I can't wait to play as these in order:

Sonic
Pokémon Trainer
Wario
Diddy Kong
Meta Knight
King Dedede

^______________________________________^

I hope Megaman gets in :D

Avielus - November 13, 2007 03:08 AM (GMT)
I CAN'T WAIT FOR BRAWL.

I CAN'T WAIT TO PLAY AS SONIC/POKEMON TRAINER EITHER.

editx1. Hey, we should all get together and play when it comes out. :P

Eon Storm - November 13, 2007 03:55 AM (GMT)
TOURNEY!

RyouBakura - November 13, 2007 05:54 PM (GMT)
I am so getting it.

There's a Super Smash Brothers Melee tournament on at my school. I'm the youngest to enter. I signed up today.

I can't wait be be the Pokemon Trainer.

Link is my character.

UPDATE: Yay for victory poses!
They upated the SSBB website with those cool stand things taht I could never get the hang of.

EDIT: Oh, it's called a taunt.

Eon Storm - November 13, 2007 08:58 PM (GMT)
On Melee, my character is Mewtwo :D

MawileGirl - November 13, 2007 11:22 PM (GMT)
I, too, can't wait to play as Sonic/Pokemon Trainer. I also can't believe Sonic got on Brawl. That's, like, so awesomely awesome! ^___^ Sonic is really fun to play as in general, I wonder if they'll change it much though..

Avielus - November 14, 2007 12:57 AM (GMT)
Hey... my best friend had a SSBM tourney at his school too! (not yours, it was a while back :P) I own him, and he got to semifinals... he says I would have won if I were there (he moved some time ago D:)

editx1. I think spindash (down+a... or was it C... for any of those who played the Genesis games :P) will be overpowered if they include it as-is... In the old games, it was almost instantaneous and really fast. I think they'll make it charge-up/slower. Like Jigglypuff's rollout without direction changing perhaps, except less chargeup than that. and... he probably won't be able to hurt people by jumping cuz that wouldn't be fair at all :P

Hehe, Link is my character too. I'll probably switch to Sonic when this comes out though.

Kaiser - November 14, 2007 02:28 AM (GMT)
I'm definatly going to be Link (just like in the last two games) and Ike! I love Ike's final smash, even though I wish it was more like his attacks when he turns into a Hero class in Path of Radiance.

Vee - November 14, 2007 05:28 PM (GMT)
I looooove Smash Bros.
Since Melee, I've loved to use Peach. Mostly just because I love the physics on her outfit. So floaty. Woo. Well, and I like smacking others with frying pans. That's not unusual... ;) *CLANG!* "Woohoo~!"

As for new characters I would have loved to see Bomberman. He could have lots of possibilities. Ice bombs, Remote... He could use tools from Hero like the Copter as a flying recovery move, or the Slider to dash through crowds. It'd be sweet. :D I loves the B-man.

Also, thinking that Nintendo would want to promote the new Pokemon games even more, I thought they'd add Lucario, to counter Melee's Mewtwo... But I suppose the Trainer is all we're getting.

I'm checking the Dojo everyday for the new stuff... it's so exciting. <3

Avielus - November 14, 2007 10:23 PM (GMT)
Wishful thinking on my part, I guess, but it would have been nice if they added characters from my two favorite RPGs, Tales of Symphonia and Golden Sun. :'(

editx1. AND FINAL FANTASY CHARACTERS. Who wouldn't want to play as Sephiroth?! :O :O :O

and I never was that great with Peach. :P like I probably said up there somewhere, Link is my forte.
