I like Kirby MUCH more than Mario. Mario just doesn't seem that fun to me. But that's just my opinion.

Oh, and only put in the "both" answer because you REALLY can't decide. Because those answer aren't very fun, and they don't tell you anything. And also they're one of my pet peeves. But... a baby's got to do what a baby's got to do. *hit*

Are we voting on the characters themselves or their games? It's a bit ambiguous...

Nearly everyone loves the Mario games. C'mon, jumping on mushrooms? What more could you want? And it is for everyone--four year olds to seniors (though seniors may not be that good =P). And aside from the 2-D platformers, nothing beats Isle Delfino except Dirananianio...

However, I hate Lakitus...

The mario games are ok, it's just that I like Kirby better. I mean, you get to swallow your enemies and get their powers! How cool is that?! And, you can swallow mushrooms if you want. But beware, there are ghosts hiding under them. =O

Well, i haven't really played any Kirby games, and I'm a big fan of Mario games, so i might as well vote for mario xD Mario games are a lotta fun. But I like Kirby as a character, too. He's so cute D: i doodle him in math a lot *shot*

I haven't played enough of either game to really offer my opinion. But here's what I say: Kirby. Why? I'm terrible at Mario. XD But more than that, while Mario has enough spin-offs to power a third-world country, Kirby has overall cooler spin-offs. I, for one, LOVED Canvas Curse. (It's the only kirby game I ever really played through. |D) Plus, the enemies in Kirby are cooler. And the power-ups. Fire, ice, plasma, balloon, wheel, UFO, jump, sword... the list goes on and on. What does Mario have? Tiny, smallish, biggish, giant. Fire flower, koopa shell. Hm.

Oh, and in SSBM, I can totally own Mario with Kirby. |D

I picked Mario. I really dun know why. xD
I lurb the graphics on the old GBA games of Kirby, and I love the storyline... I think. I really haven't played much of either game. But prolly more so Mario than kirby.

I'm definitely more of a Mario fan. It might be an exposure thing, since I never played a Kirby game until Kirby 64. Whereas I'd at least seen every Mario game to date by that time.

Kirby has a lot of things going for him, definitely. But Mario left the biggest mark on me a loooong time ago.

Kirby is easily the best - I mean just look at what he can do! He can suck people up like a vacuum and sort of half transform into them, he can fly/float, he can turn himself into things. Look what Mario can do - he can jump high - woo! Yes, I know Mario can shoot fire and all, but he needs a flower for that. Kirby doesn't need anything.

I'm going with Mario. I've only played one Kirby game, and I thought it sucked (Kirby's Tilt and Tumble...). Though Kirby is pretty cool, I'm still going with Mario.

Same 'course! Round dude with mask and cape (Meta knight) and Dude from a mushroom kingdom with green cap (Luigi) Are GREAT!

Never liked the colour pink. I don't like kirby much. Mario rules, though. You can't beat an Italian plumer with a cool moustache like that.
His games are awesome. I'm lookin' forward to Mario Galaxy, and the M&L series was fantastic.

Anyways, I'd take Kirby over Mario any day, sorry Mario lovers. I <3'd the new game for the GBA (Amazing Mirror). I've been on both sides- played most Mario games as well, except for Parties and most sports. Except Mario Tennis for the GBC. So long ago, but it was so fun :D... anyways.
