Appearance:
Lor has long dark brown hair. His fringe can reach down to his upper lip (although he usually pushes it to the side), and at the back is tied into a long ponytail. For this he is often told to get a haircut by various people throughout his life, but he tends to ignore them. The ponytail often gets moved around by the wind, and once it has been messed around with it rarely straightens itself up until he has a shower. The same thing happens with his fringe.

He has clear eyes, although they are not that bright, which are coloured blue. He is told he has good eyes, but he doesn't see anything in them, or eyes at all for that matter. To quote him, "They're just eyes".

He isn't overweight, although he doesn't necessarily have a many muscles either. He is fairly strong, although he doesn't go out of his way to exercise. Most of his fitness comes from various walking trips.. He is roughly 166cm tall, which makes him about 5"6 in Imperial measurement.

He usually wears some form of swamp green, swamp yellow or black cargo pant with a black shirt. He is occasionally found wearing a black overcoat that his mother left behind accidentally (see History). He wears black and white runners.

Personality:
Lor doesn't speak for the hell of it. When he does speak, he either has something important to say or he is just being polite and replying to somebody's question. He doesn't trust people with his thoughts easily, but he can trust people with physical related events, such as traveling in the passenger seat of somebody else's vehicle, or trusting somebody to not poison his food.

He is secretive in a way that if somebody asks about anything he'd probably tell them white lies*, but if you didn't talk to him then he wouldn't start a conversation with you. He is a polite boy when he needs to be, but doesn't let anybody in too much on his life.

Sometimes he is surprised by things other people do, although he is never caught with a shocked look on his face. He doesn't mind whether people try to make conversation with him or don't, which sometimes makes it seem like he doesn't care, when really, even though he doesn't show it, likes company from people. He likes listening to problems in the lives of others and trying to help them figure themselves out, although his exterior often prevents him from being able to do that. On the other hand, he doesn't accept help from anybody and prefers to figure out his own problems. He is even a little self-conscious when it comes to this.

Lor reacts kindly to almost all types of Pokemon, even though he doesn't like a small minority of species. If they don't do something right, he trains them so they can do it right the next time, and often encourages them out of battle. In battle he is focused and usually only speaks to instruct his Pokemon.

Whenever there is arguments, he prefers not to get involved, but when he gets drawn into one he is extremely stubborn and stands by his point until either he wins the argument or he knows he has been beaten. He doesn't accept a "that's just the way it is" answer. He doesn't get angry, and often pities the opposition in these cases.

* For those who do not know, white lies aren't necessarily lies. They are when you just don't tell the whole of the story. For example, if somebody asked you, "Did you have a biscuit today?" then replying with a white lie would be, "I have had a biscuit" but not telling the person when, and leaving out necessary details. Lor is a lot more sly about this, though, and most people don't realize he is even telling them.

History:
When Lor was nine years old, his mother left his father for another man. Lor didn't exactly understand what was happening, but he went to court all the same and was asked who he wanted to be with the most. He couldn't decide, so he flipped a coin. Heads was his mother, tails was his father. He got a tails.

His mother lost custody of him from there on in, and soon after they lost contact. Lor has asked his father about where his mother went but he didn't know either. Even though he trusted his father when he said that he didn't know where she was and that going out and looking for her would be foolish, Lor was still curious. He took her long black overcoat which she left behind and keeps it with him, often wearing it himself.

At eleven he was often called cute by other girls his age at his school and thought they meant it in a certain way. He suffered major embarrassment due to this, not by the way he acted but what he did. Soon he realised what they meant by "cute". When asked about it he would say, "they mean cute as in cute like a baby Squirtle. And girls don't want to kiss baby Squirtles".

Due to various similar mistakes, and Lor often tricking himself into believing things that he thought could be possible, he just gave up. He became extremely withdrawn, and from there on decided not to talk to people. Although he still had many acquaintances, he often didn't join in conversations, rather just standing there listening to everybody else talk. Since then, he has grown a little taller and his face has grown a little more adult, although he still hides it from people behind his hair.

He met his Cubone when he ventured into the nearby Kiti Woods. He regularly went in there, but never further than a hundred metres. He found his Cubone in a cave and named him Bone. Bone follows him around almost anywhere.
