It's really cool. :3 I like the pose. The only thing I'd say against it is that the line art is shaky, but then again, those things are hard to get perfect. xD Those lines near the center - are they shading or...?

I dun really... get it. Where does the food go when it eats? XD

Love it. ^^ IMX has an interesting question, though. XD Al well, I'd have to say it's one of the best designs for a fake I've seen in a while. ^^ I'd be willing to sprite it, if you're interested.

@Kronakitty DD: I can never get that perfect. Still, I've been practising lineart with the pen tool in Photoshop for a while now; it's the only way I actually end up liking my lineart. XD I'm on the process of making that thing's lineart using the pen tool (and it's killing me. DD: ). Perhaps I'll post it here if it is good enough. Oh, and nothing in there is shading; I truly suck at it, so I just leave it unshaded.

@IceMasterX Well, er... good question. XDDD All I can say is that... it's another mystery of Pokemon! XD Like what does Diglett's feet look like, or Jynx's... XD!

@Zephyr Really? Heh, I'm glad you think that. Most of the fakes I see on other places turn out to be, for example... a simple flame with feet for a fire starter; that's not so, um... interesting. If you get me, of course. ^^;; Oh, and sure! Feel free to sprite it if you want, I'd like to see how it'd turn out! ^^

Oh well, I have my sketchbook full of random creatures that pop out of my head any second. Maybe I could consider them fake Pokemon, eh, dunno... Perhaps I'll scan them (or take picture of them D: ) and post them up eventually.

Alas for the Pen tool - I hate that thing. X__x;; I've NEVER figured out how the heck you're supposed to use it. I draw with my tablet, and even so it's sometimes hard to get perfect lines. I just have to try over and over until I do. XD; Before I got my tablet I just used the mouse, and I think it works well if you magnify it a lot and then slowly trace the line over the sketch. Afterwards you can "smooth" it out with the eraser. ^^

Yeah, well, it's hard trying to figure what it does. I remember clicking it several time, wondering how the heck it worked. But now that I figured out, let me tell you it's pretty easy to make nice linearts using it... Maybe I could teach you how to use it! (I suck at teaching) Though, let me tell you that you need LOTS of patience and time to complete the whole lineart using it. >__>

Oh, and yeah, I have my own tablet. It's much better than magnifying the image a lot and using the mouse. D: Eye sore...Or at least for me. >.< Still, I do use the mouse when trying to sprite; I prefer it more than that... "pen shaped mouse?" O_o;

Here is another Fakemon of mine. ^w^;; This time, it is a Cresselia "Phione." (Am I making any sense?) Er... I guess it's like Manaphy; you breed Cresselia and get this one, but this one does not evolve into her. I thought that would be best for her, since she does look like Cresselia...I think... ^^;;

@Coolio Lol, you flatter me. XD; And when I say "Cresselia Phione," I don't mean that it has Phione characteristics in it. It means that to get this Pokemon, you must breed Cresselia, and this one will hatch from the egg, but WILL NOT evolve into Cresselia. Kind of like Manaphy and Phione, you see? :3

I'm not very good at shading, but... I tried my best. ^^;;
Lineart made with the Pen Tool using a solid 2 pixel brush with simulated pressure, and then another two solid 1 pixel brush without simulating pressure. Then coloured it using the colours of the Sugimori artwork, and finally used the Smudge and Blur Tools.

*bows down to the almighty Ice Beam* You. Are. AWESOME! You have great drawing skills and the shading looks fine to me, but I doubt I'd really know.=D I can't wait to see how the sprite of the first pokemon comes out, Zephyr! ^^

That latias is great Ice Beam! You'll get the shading sooner or later...I'm not that good either...xP

Yeah, the lineart looks kind of, I dunno... pixel-ish, but that's because I decided to make it transparent. D: Bad decision, I know.

As for the pen tool - it's a great asset in any program. A good drawing has to have good lineart!
