Title: Would you ever pay for an online game?
Description: Yes, no, maybe so?

Satoshi - June 13, 2007 12:44 AM (GMT)
I wouldn't pay for a game that would be to pricey. But I did use to pay for some online games, even though I'd rather not. I use to by Habbo Credits for Habbo UK and used to have a monthly subscription to Runescape (only like $5).

But I don't play online games as much anymore, so I stopped paying.

Would you ever pay or have you ever payed for an online game?

blackchaosmew - June 13, 2007 01:00 AM (GMT)
Probably not, but just maybe if the price was low enough, the game was good enough, and it was worth it.

Shadow - June 13, 2007 02:37 AM (GMT)
Mmm, probably not. I guess it's just not worth it in my opinion; any online game I've been interested in, I lose interest in fairly soon. I have better things to spend my money on. =3

IceMasterX - June 13, 2007 03:28 AM (GMT)
I bought credits on imvu once. *shot*
I wouldn't normally. Forums are enough for me. ^^

Pointy - June 13, 2007 08:30 PM (GMT)
I would for like really good games, if my dad would let me pay money over the internet >3>; meh

but like Shadow said, I would most likely lost interest in the game, so probably not

Yup, I'm a subscriber to Runescape (and should probably cancel as I'm becoming inactive) and as long as I can convince my parents of the benefits of purchasing something online, yes, I would. Of course, that means that I have to be committed to it, something that I am poor at.

Thankfully Invisionfree is free.

Kiri - June 14, 2007 10:02 PM (GMT)
Pfft, nah.

I usually become very inactive in online games, unless it's something I'm really obsessed about. For me, it's "I'm obsessed" and then "Oh, that was yesterday". Yeah. XP

My mum wouldn't let me anyway. 030

Eievui - June 15, 2007 06:12 PM (GMT)
Pretty much what Kiri said. I get obsessed for a short while, and then I get bored.

Cyndaquil201 - June 15, 2007 10:46 PM (GMT)
If it was good enough, I would, but I haven't found any good enough yet. The only online game I play is Runescape anyway, and the only reason I play that is because my brother does.

My brother subscribes to runescape, but I got bored of it very quickly, so I never subscribed.

EDIT: Thank God invisionfree is free!

I would not. Cuz they may be too pricey, and most of them aren't good. The ones that are good are very pricey. And i don't have the stupid money. Yeah i got bored of runescape too. I mean, all you do is walk around killing demons and those little green goblins. Well, I do that, anyway... :P

Same here. Well, now that I think about it, if invisionfree was invisionpaylotsamoney, I might do it anyway. . .

EonWing - July 29, 2007 10:59 PM (GMT)
No, because I'm pretty much broke anyways.... -_-

Axphear - July 30, 2007 01:07 AM (GMT)
I guess I'd like to, but I wouldn't. Because I'd like to pay for something else. If I wanted to I think I could though.

Off topic: I play runescape too! But I'm not active any more at all.

Aqua - August 14, 2007 07:20 PM (GMT)
Nah, I wouldn't pay to play online. Unless it's something like Guild Wars, where the online is free, you just need to buy the game, I won't play it. The few other online games I play are usually PSU (Phantasy Star Universe) at my friends house, and I like to play The King of Fighters Neowave, and 2003 and 2002 on XBox Live at my friends house as well.

Depending on the game, I would play SOME online games, but only if I had the money/it was free. One of the many reasons I've never touched RO is because of that. Though there are other servers I could use to play for free... *shiftyeyes*

Kaiser - August 14, 2007 07:36 PM (GMT)
I wouldn't, but I did when I joined WoW. Thank god they have gamecards.

Anniku - August 20, 2007 03:24 AM (GMT)
Maybe I would try a few, but my mom doesn't pay online and we're sorta, eh, broke... If you bought the game, and playing online was free then I would do it, probably.

Yes, oh yes, thank god for invisionfree. xD

Arrow - August 27, 2007 03:09 AM (GMT)
Nahh. I don't have a credit card.

Naxalge Dusksfield - August 31, 2007 10:45 PM (GMT)
No I would not. I think it's a waste of money anyway, I could just create/join an RPG in a free forum like InvasionFree and use my imagination. My imagination's free, most online games aren't. And if my parents spent their money paying for a subscription, then I would never get a new video game because they'd be all like: "Isn't your subscription, which we pay for EVERY month, enough? I think it is. No, no more new video games for you."

Ice Beam - November 2, 2007 12:26 AM (GMT)
Not really, I'd rather use my money for something else, to be honest. ^^;

RyouBakura - November 10, 2007 10:15 PM (GMT)
Likewise, Icebeam.

I don't see why you'd want to pay for an online game. Really. I just...don't see why.
It's hard to explain, but...
