Title: Satoshi's Anime/Pokémon Art
Description: 'Cause everybody's doing it!

Ok, everyone seems to be making their own little art threads, so I decided to make one too! Ok, basically all I will post up here is Anime and Pokémon art (hence the title) that I've hand-drawn and uploaded to my laptop. Sometimes, I'll even attempt to color them, my shading, in my opinion, is horrible, so don't attack me! lol :P

Ok so here is my first hand-drawn and then colored art, that'll I'll be posting.

Luffy the Piplup: Handrawn & Colored Versions

I made Luffy when I was planning a hand drawn comic. I'm not sure wether I'm going to make the comic or wat it would be about. But it would include 3 other Characters that I created along Luffy (I'll upload 'em later).

Luffy is the way I feel a Piplup should've looked. It has a neck, a skinnier body, and bigger wings. I add a twist to every Pokemon I draw, to make it more original looking.

So what do ya'll think

Ahaha... my turn to C&C you. 8D

Luffy (colored): Very nice. It's almost identical to the uncolored one (which is to be expected, since you scanned it in and made if from it, I assume). I like your new ideas about how Piplup should look. You are right, mostly, about everything. Piplup would be more realistic if it had a neck, a skinnier body (and perhaps a slightly bigger torso, judging from your picture), and bigger wings. The picture itself is very nice, however it's obvious you used the fill tool for coloring. That's fine, but don't forget the tiny spots where you forgot to color. The white dots don't look very pleasing, but other than that, love it! <3

Luffy (uncolored): Very nice, on the whole. I like his (her? you never specified) pose. The background looks very nice, and it does look like a comic in the making! ^^ However, the lineart is a bit sketchy but other than that, it's very lovable. ^^

Awww, thanks for the good review! I'm glad you agree on my ideas of the way a Piplup should look.

Yes, I used the fill tool *shot* I just don't know what else to use :P. I wasn't even planning on coloring it, but I just wanted to find out how it would turn out. O.o I completley missed those dots! And the line art in the coloring should be edited a bit, but oh well!

Luffy is a boy, sorry if I didn't make that clear. It does look like a comic in the making? Cool! I'm still not sure how I'd pull it off, but maybe in the future I will post one here! And I'm not one for *Perfect* line art, Mostly because my erasers in r/l suck lol. But I guess I can edit the line art in adobe next time.

Anyway, thanks for the comment!

Unfortunantley I don't have anything to add right now, I have to much stuff (finals, parties, school, regences) going on to be bothered to upload my drawings. And conisdering the activity at this forum latley, I think it'd be better if I posted stuff later.

Expect some Anime characters and more characters like Luffy soon!
