Title: Kiri's Art Thread

Bleh. I need some Constructive Criticism (and comments 83) so I'll post them up. I need some creativity. My artworks are blah. Some of these are quite big, so watch out :3
My newest one yet. It only took about an hour, maybe less. ^^ Done today.
A picture for the sequel of my fanfiction. Heh, I do these "sequel" pictures even when I'm not done with the first story. But I'm proud of the pic anyway.
For the story mentioned earlier. I'm unable to post it, as I haven't thought of a title yet (T.T). No, it's not completely out in the blue, it has some canon characters in it. And in the picture, ignore the 'the one who growled' thing 'cause that has nothing to do with the story. Just a spur of the moment. (T.T) And kill the anatomy. The back legs suck. (Hey, I couldn't figure how to position them! xD)
Something that I made on Corel Painter. ^^ No shading, very simple comic-like drawing. The two Pikachu are standing on a Charizard, by the way. Yet another drawing for my fanfic, but this time it actually has something to do with it. It's a scene from it. And yes, the Pikachu to the right is the same Ahfrican that appeared in the picture before. Just forgot to add the stripes on her arm.

This one's a link because it's pretty big. Not in width, but length, or is it the other way around? What I mean is, it's long. I tried imitating a comic, but the idea is all my own. There's no story behind this. You'll just have to imagine what happened before or what'll happen after. Very unlikely I'll continue this. And the comic is really sloppy.
I think that's enough for now. I'll post more later. ^^

O.o You certainley do have an interesting style!
The Latias Drawing
Ok, well, it's not the greatest and the fact that you did it in one hour can suppourt it. The shading seems all right, but the face looks a bit disfigured and from what I can see, the body looks this way too. I like the style though!
The Stargazing Pic
It's really nice, I like the grass and the sky and the style of the Pikachu and Pichu are cool. The only thing that bothers me in this picture is the angle of the 2 Pokemon. They look like they are falling over, I feel they should be more upright and their necks tilted toward the sky. Also, a few of Pikachu's body styles are missing, but I guess that's just the look you we're going for.

I'm not sure what Ahfrican is, but I'm guessing it's some sort of female Pikachu (that's what you said, i think). It's really cute and I love the style! I see nothing wrong with this one! Except under the next and above the front feet, just looks a little wierd, but I'm sure it's fine!
Lady Ketchup
I definetly see nothing wrong with this! It's cute, drawn nicely and has the comic feel to it. Well done! The only thing is that you forgot Pikachu's body art again (the tail stripes and the stripes on the body) But, agian, I'm guessing that's just the style, so forget it. If the fic buisness doesn't work out, I would defiently reccommend you creating your own hand-drawn comic series!
Overall, you did a great job!

Yeah, thanks--you certainly know how to constructively criticize. xD And yes, every day I... uh... build my style? It's pretty naked, right now (if you know what I mean xD). I just need to... add clothes on it. God. That sounded wrong.
About the Latias--I agree with you. The face is way too disfigured. I won't be experimenting with that style anymore. I just wanted to shade Sugimori style--however--it looks more like a 2nd Grader took it and shaded it. It's messy in many places, and I know it. xD
Stargazing--Does it? I don't get the feeling that it's out of perspective. The two do seem a little tilted, I guess. ^^
Ahfrican--Yeah, she's a Pikachu. Sorry. ^^;; I keep thinking the anatomy is very off, but I guess it needs more than two eyes to view.Anyway, I'm always ready to accept love! 8D
Ketchuppy goodness--Yeah, I don't like putting the body stripes on the tail, or the... uhm... bottom. It looks a bit cluttered to me, in my opinion, so I push it out. But then again, it's usually that I forget it. xD I don't draw a lot of Pikachu. Trust me. And I've tried making home comics, as you can see from the pitiful link up there. xD Uhh.... I'm working on it.
