Jayden looked down as he walked home from school. He was thinking, thinking about the 5 wasted years of his life, the ones spent with none other than Team Galaxy (See Jayden Introductory Topic or Trainer Card). He had recently received a pokemon for his 14th birthday, a Sneasel, and he brought it everywhere with him, because in the few days Jayden had had his Sneasel, he had become attached to it. You could find Jayden doing this often, staring at the ground and thinking, maybe kicking a pebble. Jayden was naturally a cheerful person, but after he was kidnapped by Team Galaxy, only his good friends can bring out his cheerfulness.
"Hey you, over there!" a boy about Jayden's age called.
Jayden looked up.

The boy, another trainer, walked forward with a pretty aggressive-looking Eevee behind him.

"Hey, weren't you a kid from Team Galaxy?" he asked with a mean tone.

"I. . .I. . ." Jayden looked away with tears in his eyes. He wasn't sure what he was thinking, but he ran. . .ran away. . .
His eyes were closed, and before he knew it, he ran into the same guy who had called to him earlier.

The boy glanced at him quizzically. "Hey, dude, I didn't mean to hurt your feelings," he said. "You were that boy, though, weren't you?" he said quietly, as if he didn't want to upset Jayden.

The boy's Eevee narrowed its eyes slightly, and would've hissed, but it knew its trainer well enough to know that that wasn't a good move right now.

Jayden tried to change the subject, and act cooler in front of this boy.

"Maybe I was, maybe I wasn't. I'll tell you. . .if you battle me!" Sneasel jumped into a battle pose.

The boy crossed his arms and frowned. "Hey dude...are you sure about this?" he asked. "You don't look like a very strong type, no offense."

Despite his words, Eevee jumped in, ready to battle.

Jayden had always taken pride in his good pokemon-battling skills, but this boy did look strong. Jayden nodded his head.

"Alright, then..." the boy said. "I'm Zack, by the way. And since this is going to be a real Pokemon battle, don't expect any mercy from me! Eevee, use Tackle!"

Eevee rushed forward at an extremely fast speed and hit Sneasel hard.

Tackle: 4 HP damage, 100 Accuracy

Sneasel: 16/20 HP
Eevee: 20/20 HP, lv5

OT: Is that fair, him getting to attack me in a separate round? Well, I guess it's fair as long as you end this next round before he gets to attack again. . .

BOT:
"Sneasel use Scratch!"

(( It's not really a "separate round", since he simply went first. He's not going to get to attack you more than you get to attack him. ^^; ))

Sneasel quickly recovered and used Scratch. The Eevee didn't have time to dodge, as Sneasel was fast, too.

Sneasel: 16/20 HP
Eevee: 16/20 HP

Scratch again!

(( Er... I'd like it if you'd put a little more than just commands in your post. XD; Being a little more detailed or descriptive wouldn't hurt. ^^; Otherwise it's a tad spammy. x3; ))

"Dodge it!" Zack shouted.

Eevee scurried out of the way, and ran up a tree. Zack watched with a confident look on his face. "Dude, my Eevee's too fast for your Sneasel," he said, shrugging.

Sneasel glared at the Eevee as its attack missed, and awaited further instruction.

(( I know Scratch's accuracy is 100, but that only means it's not going to "randomly" miss. XD But hey, this is more interesting, neh? =D If you don't like it, we can make it a normal game-ish battle. ^^ ))

(An Eevee wouldn't be faster than a Sneasel, would it? Sneasel's really fast. . .)

Sneasel, use Taunt, so he can't dodge your moves, he can only attack!

(Sneasel is quite a bit faster than Eevee, but it could still dodge a Sneasel, I suppose. Perhaps this trainer has trained his Eevee to be fast. ^^)

Sneasel tossed jeers and taunts at the Eevee, and Eevee leaped down from the tree. Snarling at the Sneasel, it Tackled the dark Pokemon, regardless of its trainer's orders.

Sneasel slowly staggered to his feet, a little taken aback by the viciousness of the Eevee's attack. Eevee stood defiantly before him, much calmer despite its tail fluffed out in rage.

Sneasel: 12/20 HP
Eevee: 16/20 HP

Sneasel, use Scratch, but if it comes at you, jump into that tree!

Sneasel darted at the little brown Pokemon, digging its claws into the brown fur. Eevee cried out, and Zach shouted, "Quick, Eevee, Tackle!"

Eevee leaped for the Sneasel, eager for a bit of revenge, but quick as lightning Sneasel scrambled up the bark of a large oak tree. Sneasel stood on a branch about five feet above the ground, leaning against the massive trunk. "Snea-sel!" he called, teasing his opponent.

Sneasel: 12/20 HP
Eevee: 12/20 HP (Taunted)

Now Sneasel, when he's not looking, jump down and use scratch!

Unfortunately, Eevee, angry and dying to attack, would not look away. It leaped as high as it could for a Tackle. Sneasel crashed down with Scratch, and both Pokemon fell to the ground.

Sneasel: 8/20 HP
Eevee: 8/20 HP (Taunted)

Okay Sneasel, you've made it mad, now keep dodging its attacks until it comes at you head on, then use Scratch!

Eevee dashed at Sneasel, attempting to Tackle it. Given warning from its trainer, Sneasel leaped to one side, then put the momentum behind a Scratch attack. Unfortunately, the momentum stopped once the Scratch hit, so Sneasel stumbled and almost fell.

Sneasel: 8/20 HP
Eevee: 4/20 HP (Taunted)

Keep it up Sneasel! You're faster than this Eevee, so dodge its attacks and use Scratch whenever you can!

Eevee began lashing out at Sneasel in a frenze of fury, but because of it being taunted and its overall recklessness, Sneasel dodged the attacks easily by swinging its head from side to side. As they pushed onward, Sneasel suddenly lashed out with a Scratch attack, the attack's impact flinging Eevee backwards. It fell.

Sneasel: 8/20 HP (has gained 25 exp!)
Eevee: Fainted

Eevee's owner immediately leaped to his Pokemon's side, and looked at you with defeat in his eyes.

Jayden smiled. "I was from Team Galaxy, but I'm not anymore" he said. He felt superior now. He walked back to his house. He was thinking, but not about his life. He loved his Sneasel. He loved Pokemon Battling. He wanted to go on a pokemon journey.

Jayden's mom was waiting for him back at the house.

"Where were you?" she asked. "And why the cheerful face?"

Despite Jayden's mom's smile, it was easy to tell she was worried her son might've gotten into some affair that involved mention of Team Galaxy. "Jayden...you are okay, right...?" she asked again.

"I'm fine, really. I won a pokemon battle with Sneasel"
"Oh, and there's something I'd like to talk to you about tonight" he said, now in a more serious mood.

Jayden's mother's face immediately darkened. "Is it about--" she began to say, but stopped herself. "Alright, we'll talk after dinner."

*After Dinner*
"Mom. . .the thing. . .the thing I wanted to talk to you about. . .it's. . .the thing. . .it's. . ." Jayden Decided just to blurt it out. "I wanna be a pokemon trainer! A traveling one, and collect all the badges and everything."

To Jayden's surprise, his mother smiled. The worried look was still a little apparent in her eyes, but she certainly looked relieved.

"Oh, thank goodness it's not about Team Galaxy!" she said happily. "I was afraid something might've happened. Well, you want to be a Pokemon trainer? I think that's a good idea, but Jayden... are you sure you will be alright...?"

His mother's smile faded again, to be replaced with deep concern.

"Mom, I'll be fine, don't be afraid. I have Sneasel, anyway. . ."

Sneasel snee! Sneasel said. It seemed pretty confident.

Jayden's mom relaxed a little. "Well, if you insist. Do you want some money? When are you planning to leave?"

I'll leave pretty early tomorrow morning, if that's okay with you. Money. . .hmm. . .

Your mother nodded, and disappeared into a room. She reappeared with $500 in her hands. "Here you go," she said. "Please spend them wisely. And if you ever come back to visit, I'll give you more."

"Okay!" said Jayden.

~Then he went to bed~

~He woke up at 7:00~

"I'm leaving, mom! Seeya!"

Your mom came out of her room to say good bye to her son. "Goodbye, Jayden..." she said. "Be careful, okay? Be sure to call when you find a Pokemon Center, too. They have those PC phone-things there. Good luck with your journey!"

"Seeya!" yelled Jayden. He ran out of the house, and waved behind him.

Back in Silvershade Town, you notice some commotion at the square. A man dressed in a funky suit is performing with a Ninetales on a small stage. A crowd is gathered around him, watching intently.

"Huh?" Jayden looked toward it. "Come one, Sneasel, let's go watch!"

The man his Nintales are performing fire tricks. The crowd is watching carefully.

"And nowww," the man said, "I need a volunteer!"

Several hands shot up in the crowd.

Jayden automatically raised his hand, even though he didn't know what he was doing.

"Good, good! All of you, come up here!" With an extravagant wave of his hand he beckons you and about five or six other volunteers. He turns to face the crowd again.

"Now, what I am about to show you is only possible because my Ninetales has complete control of her fire. Any Pokemon lower than level sixty should never even try to attempt this. Ninetales, Fire Ring!"

The great fox whips its tails and raises its head. Fire flies from its mouth and encircles the group of startled kids. It isn't particularly hot, and it's surprisingly translucent- you can see the crowd through it. Like a live creature, it snakes around the children. The Ninetales is paying utmost concentration to its fire, manipulating it with particularly potent psychic powers. It is remarkable obedient as is ties to itself and flares upward, creating a massive and breathtaking column of flame that reaches higher than your head. It is held for a few long-lasting seconds and then released.

The astonished crowd is silent for several seconds before bursting into tumultuous applause.
