I have a site, it is imagamer.co.uk (sorry for advertising). But recently the host has been going offline all of the time, so people are comming off my site. All I want to do is go onto the host, but this is the second time in the past two days that they have been off. I can't afford to pay for a domain and hosting, and I don't have anywhere to get free hosting from, because I don't like to put stress onto people.

This just really makes me angry as I used to have a really popular site, but is just failed because of do many adverts (supposed to be an ad-free host). So I wanted to make a gaming site, then I changed my mind into a pokemon site.

All I want to do is to feel as if I have something to do in my life, I want to design websites for a living but I have no host for me and any clients I may get. This just makes me even sadder 'cos people don't want to pay for expensive hosts if there company are just small.

And since I got a site, I have been very angry at my friends, and don't bother much to help around my site, and I don't get time to play on my games consoles.

Any advice or sympathy?

If your host is failing, move to a new one. There are TONS of good free hosts out there. If you have no money, don't go to a paid host. Free hosts will not feel "stressed" to host you. And owning a site will never be a huge part of your life, because it's just for fun, unless you're making a profit. Try Orgfree.com or 1ASPHost. Check Eonlight Valley's Resources page for more. XD;

I also don't see why you should be angry with your friends. They're not the owners of your site, so they have no reason to help you. And if you have no time for game consoles, why do you have time for a site?

Sorry if I didn't understand correctly - how you worded things were a little weird. ^^; But I think the solution to all your problems is just to relax and take it easy.

I agree with Kronakitty. I think I know how you're feeling, but a website shouldn't make you feel like that. There's more important things than a website, and those deserve more thought. So basically, just relax. Take a break from your site if you need to. =)

Most domains aren't very pricey, the most expensive ones costing about $10 a month (or seeing as you're from the uk, 7-8 pounds). They're rewarding and relatively easy to switch. If one host is giving you trouble, you can change to another. If all else fails, you can have a non-domain forum (Invisionfree, Proboards and the like) that will stay up if your site goes down and will keep your visitors occupied until you manage to fix whatever issues you are having with your domain.
