Title: I wish things could last forever...

Shadow - February 17, 2007 04:50 AM (GMT)
Well, so today was the last basketball game, which means the last time the band will play at one, until next year, obviously. Some of my friends in high school are seniors, so that's their last game ever.

At the end of this year, two of my closest friends are graduating, and I just wish they weren't leaving. Chances are I'll rarely get to talk to them again, and I rarely get to see two of my friends who have already graduated.

The two that are seniors right now are in an after school-type event, and the other day I went to watch them perform. They were reciting an essay, adding their own movements and gestures and such to it. It was amazing, and hilarious, and the team work between the two astounded me.

I don't really know what else to say. I wish my friends weren't leaving, I wish I was in high school so we could be on the same teams for a club we're all in. Maybe I'm overreacting, I don't know. I just know that I'll miss them. I'm missing them right now, when I'll see them on Monday.

And what about when I graduate? I don't want to ever leave my friends behind, and...

I'd miss everyone.

That's sad. I felt the same pain.

This happened to me too. Maybe you could call them or something? I dunno. I feel your pain Shadow.
I hope you guys will meet again though ^^

Shadow - February 18, 2007 04:12 AM (GMT)
=/ Thanks, you guys. Yeah, I suppose I could call... I guess I'd be more comfortable writing or emailing, though. I don't really talk on the phone much, and that way, if they're busy, they don't have to respond right away.

Grr... I should see if I can find their email addresses. Or something.

It's pretty easy to keep in touch with people, as long as you have time to prepare. Just ask them all their e-mail addresses or something. It really works.

Heck, I'm going to be going to a private high school, but I won't stop communicating with my friends because of it. If they're really worth being friends with, they'll stay in touch.

Yeah, that's true... I think I'll do that, and hopefully that will work. Thanks, everyone.

Yeah. =3 Get their phone numbers and e-mail addresses, and set up web cam so you can talk to each other face to face. ^-^ If not, even online connections are better than no connections at all, ne? =D

Shadow - February 19, 2007 01:17 AM (GMT)
XDD A web cam? Haha, that'd be funny. I think email would work the best, though. Then either of us being busy wouldn't be too much of an issue, because we could reply when we have time. =D

...Hmm, I should make a different email address, though, for real life. I don't think they know me as Shadow. XD

Kronakitty - February 19, 2007 01:20 AM (GMT)
You can always tell them who Shadow is. =3 Do they know about AMC?

Shadow - February 19, 2007 02:25 AM (GMT)
No, they don't. XD A lot of my friends that I didn't go to elementary school with don't know I like Pokemon, mostly because I never bothered to tell them, I guess. I don't think it would matter either way, but it'd be easier to have an email address that said from _____ than from Shadow. Less explaining, I guess. XD

It happens, but look on the bright side - at least you left on a positive note.

And anyway, you can still keep in touch with them through other ways, like email, or over the phone. Meet up and go out to the movies, go and do something with them. Stay in contact.
