I'm curious as to what you guys think about the PS3. Is anyone here wanting to get one, and if you are, are you willing to pay the price for it? Me, personally, don't care for the PS3 at this moment... nor do I have that kind of money for that kind of money. Plus those things are freaking heavy.. @.@;; (I had to carry one from the Service Desk to the register so someone can play one.. I swear it weighed more than my cat and he's a good 20 pounds.)

I've never been a fan of systems other than Nintendo for gaming. Playstation has somewhat decent games, but most of them are shooters, sports, and movie-based games that come to all consoles. I don't think it's worth the money and time spent getting one.

By the way, isn't it ironic how the rage over Ps3 died out in about a week but the rage over Wii is still going? XD

In my opinion, the Ps3 is just a bigger, heavier, and more expensive ripoff of the the Wii, but with some different games.

Not really a fan of PS3. Only has some good graphics. Not many good games. In fact the Wii is the only one with decent games. The PS3 Graphic however could get blocky. Only positive side about the PS3 would be the graphic and power.
The bad side is...
-Cost too much
-Many people died getting one
-Pretty much a rip-off since it doesn't have good games.
And whats with this Wii war? I can't get one ever? T_T

People were killed trying to get a Ps3? That's just not worth it.

I know that someone was shot in line. I'm also against the PS3, and as one of my friends would say, would you like to have an extremely realistic movie of me waving my arm the same exact for an hour, or would you like a less-realistic but deep game with slashing swords, monsters, and puzzles? PS3 vs. Wii arguement. The Wii won. The PS3 is pretty much just an upgraded PS2 while the Wii sends a new type of gameplay into the gaming world. I'm totally a pro-Wii person, so I'm pretty against the PS3. I have a PS2, and it's pretty much the same thing as the Gamecube with different controls.

You said it. I own a Wii with The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess and Wii Sports It is awsome and I play the lil' baby everytime I'm not out or typing on these forums (or playing Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team. Imagine playing that on the Wii *whistles*)

I like Nintendo consoles MUCH better than Sony, but if I got a 50% off deal somehow, you could be sure I'd buy it!

Anyway, it is said that the PS3 is mega-heavy. I'd rather get a Nintendo Game Boy Mini then one of them.

I think that's hilarious. xD During this whole Christmas season, I probably saw ten PS3s (not including the ones that were returned) and only ONE Wii (the one I was about to buy before the big boss said no). After Christmas, I've probably seen four PS3s and only two Wiis (including the one I bought). Even now, it seems like people are diving for the Wiis. (It pays to work in retail.. you get to watch the stupid people. >:3 )

My brother has a Ps3 now! (It was the last one in the store). He got two games with it, and it's fun to watch him play them (especially when he crashes in the plane one). In all, I think it costed like a thousand bucks. o_O But my dad, who paid for it, probably thinks it's worth it, because he played with and thinks it's a lot of fun.

I still think the Wii's better, though.

I'd much rather play the Wii than the PS3. After all, the Wii's the first motion-sensing console ever.

I heard from someone that people were shot fighting for the Wii at its first release because they were fighting over it. XD

I've never heard of a rage for the PS3, though... It probably has better graphics than the Wii (based on screenshots I saw), but other than that, I favor the Nintendo Wii. :3

I only the Playstation because of Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts. But despite that, it sucks. Besides, I've been a Nintendo man since I first played the SNES when I was 3. I don't care much for the Wii, either (at least until that new LoZ game comes out for it). As long as I have the GCN Twilight Princess and a working DS to be ready for Phantom Hourglass, I'm happy with my Gamecube and DS.
